Let’s Talk Tuesday #31

1. Let’s talk about JT’s Super Bowl performance. It was definitely really good don’t get me wrong. But wouldn’t it have been the best ever if N*Sync had come out for part of it? I mean they are the reason he is where he is. And the Prince thing? I wasn’t into it personally but it was still overall a really good performance. Still not sure why a lot of people were saying it was bad though. Haters gonna hate.
2. Also, the kid JT took a selfie with…anyone think he actually knew who he was taking a picture with or did he have to Google it? Because he definitely just became the coolest kid at school.
3. Can we also get a HALLELUJAH for the Eagles beating the Patriots? Now let’s keep them out of the Super Bowl for a good 5 years and then they can get another shot at it. It’s time to let some other people get a chance to win.
4. In case you didn’t know, this Friday is National Bagel Day! Check out this site to get the scoop on where you can snag a free bagel!
5. As I’ve shared before, I have Ulcerative Colitis and although I’m currently (thank the Lord!) in remission, that’s not always the case. This article opened my eyes to all of the inflammatory foods I eat on a daily basis. But seriously though, what is life without dairy, gluten and sugar?
6. With that in mind, this article about Trader Joe’s GMO products is interesting. And to think I thought all of their products were GMO free! Lies.
7. We’ve been trying to budget our groceries better to cut out unnecessary spending and these tips on lowering your grocery bill are some of my favorites! Especially #8. Grocery delivery and/or ordering groceries ahead is literally the best ever…as long as your picker gets you good produce.
8. They make Saved By The Bell lipgloss?? My inner Kelly Kapowski needs this in my life.
9. I would like to eat about 1,000 of these. Just need to figure out where I can find lacinato kale in the store first. Whole Foods? Kroger doesn’t carry it. Help!
10. I recently bought an EcoTools Blending Sponge and it works like a dream! I actually like the shape of the sponge compared to the Real Techniques sponge I had been using. I felt like it was easier to blend since the sides were flat rather than only having one flat side. While I’ve never tried a real Beauty Blender, I can get great results with the cheap ones so save your money ladies!
